Mauritanian delegation paid a visit to ANEAQ

On March 21-24, 2022, a delegation from the Mauritanian Higher Education Quality Assurance Authority (AMAQ-ES) paid a visit to the National Agency for Assessment and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Scientific Research (ANEAQ) of Morocco. AMAQ-ES’s delegation was made up of:

  • Mohamed Lemine Haless, Director
  • Ahmedou Haouba, Head of the Administrative Board,
  • Mohamed ELY ELKory, Head of the Scientific Council
  • Et Mme. Aissata Diallo, Deputy Director.

This visit of AMAQ-ES representatives was part of the experience exchange in quality assurance between the two bodies. The program of visit is marked by a series of activities rich which was spread over three days as follows:

  • 10:00 – 10:30a.m Overview on the International University of Rabat and its Internal Quality Assurance Policy
  • 10:30 – 11:15a.m Discussion et debate
  • 11:15 – 12:00a.m Visit to the premises of the university
  • 02:00p.m Visit to Mohammed V University of Rabat
  • 02:30 – 03:00p.m Overview on Mohammed V University of Rabat and its Internal Quality Assurance Policy
  • 03:00 – 03:45 Discussion et debate

Thursday March 24, 2022

  • 09:30a.m: Visit de the Directorate of Higher Education and Pedagogical Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation
  • 10:00 – 10:45a.m: Presentation of Higher Education and Pedagogical Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation
  • 10:45 – 11:30a.m: Discussion et debate
  • 12 :00 – Signature at ANEAQ’s headquarters of the Memorandum of Understanding between ANEAQ and AMAQ-ES

furthermore, the visit served as an opportunity for mutual enrichment of the two agencies and opened promising perspectives for the implementation of quality assurance in the two countries.

At the end of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding of Cooperation between ANEAQ and AMAQ-ES was concluded at the headquarters of ANEAQ.
