Participation of ANEAQ’s Director at the 4^th Meeting of Morocco-UK Higher Education Commission

On Monday March 28, 2022, the Director of the National Agency for Assessment and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Scientific Research (ANEAQ), Mr. El Mokhtar BAKKOUR, attended the 4^th meeting of the Morocco-UK Higher Education Commission held in the headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation.

The meeting, which is chaired by Mr. Abdellatif MIRAOUI, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, and Mr. Andrew Murrison, the British Prime Minister’s special envoy to Morocco, and jointly held by the Moroccan Ministry of Higher, the British Embassy in Morocco and British Council, was an opportunity to shed light on higher education and scientific research issues, mainly transnational education, partnerships in terms of higher education and scientific research.

On this occasion, the Director addressed the participants, highlighting the close relationship between the National Agency for Assessment and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Scientific Research and the UK Quality Assurance Agency, whereby the Agency has benefited from a training program on internal and external quality assurance. The Director also acknowledged the role of British Council in deepening the relationship between the Moroccan National Agency and its UK counterpart.

Meanwhile, the fourth meeting of the Moroccan-British commission witnessed the signature of a memorandum of understanding between the National Agency for Assessment and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Scientific Research (ANEAQ) and the British Quality Assurance Agency (QAA).
